What is injection lipolysis?
Subcutaneous injections with a fatcell dissolving natural enzyme ( phophatidylcholine) directly in the fatlayer under the skin, will give a controlled slow dissolving of that fatlayer in a natural way. Anaestesia is not necessary.
Lipolyse is suited for the treatment of the following regions:
- love handles
- underchin,jawline,jowls
- backside upperarms
- shoulder and back plies
- upperbelly, 'love handles'
- underbelly
- 'saddles' at outside thigh and inner thigh ( especially when 'soft' fat)
- buttock line/ bottomcontour
- cellulite and 'orangeskin'
treatment
The enzyme solution is injected directly in the fat tissue under the skin, with very small needles and anaestesia is not necessary The dissolving of the fatcells starts immediatly after and will continue another 8-12 weeks. The visible result will be reached in about 8 weeks after injection. The dissolved fat will go out of the body like it would when you are dieting( liver and stool). The upperlying skin will get slowly tighter as well, so the overstretched skin restores mostly ( unless the skin has lost all its flexibility). Several sessions are necessary. Every session will dissolve as much as about 1 cm of the fatlayer. So the number of sessions will depend on the thickness of the starting fatlayer. Most people need 3-6 treatments.
Product used
The active product is Phosphatidylcholine ( PPTC) a natural enzyme which is present in most human, animal and plantcells. The injectionproduct is made out of soyebeans and so, is of natural origine. Nature itself uses this enzyme for dissolving the fatcellmembrane and the effect on the excess of human fatlayers was found by coincidence. Otherwise PPTC is used already since more than twenty years in hospitals in greater dosages for fatembolism ( fatclothing after multiple fractures)and for lowering cholesterol. Never in all those years has there been serious side effects ( see under, for side effects). In the foodindustry it is used in a non purified form ( lecithin) for chocolate and cookies production
Side effects?
Injection lipolysis is a safe method. Most clients get directly after the treatment: redness of the skin and swelling and tenderness ( pain of a blue) at the injected region. Sometimes a blue( hematoma)of the skin can appear. All this disappeares within a few days. Sometimes a tenderness at bumping the injected region can persist for a few weeks, but will dispapear as well. Because the fat is evacuated via the stool, the stool can be a bit fatter. No long term side effects are known.
Injection lipolysis is not suited for:
Clients with allergy for soye products, clients with a disregulation of diabetes or thyreoid malfunctioning (if well regulated the treatment is possible). Clients with severe liverdisorders or severe kidney diseases. Pregnant clients and breastfeeding clients are also adviced not to be treated for security reasons for the baby. Injectionlipolysis is a good method for local fat deposits that do not, or badly react on a normal low calorie diet, combined with excercise. Just simple adipositas/obesity is better treated first, with a diet regime for weightloss. During lipolysistreatment it will help if you can save on the calories you are eating, but strictly necessary it is not.
What does it cost?
Average cost is 150-300 euro per treatment session per region, depending on how big the region is. A big belly takes a maximum amount of injectionsolution per treatment session and will take 300 euro. Mostly 3-5 treatmentsessions are necessary( of course depending on the thickness of the beginning layer). A double underchin/jowls takes lesser solution per session ( 150 euro) and takes in general lesser treatments sessions (2-3), so is much cheaper. There is an individual reaction of every client, as to the speed of dissolving. So an individual number of sessions may be required. After one session you will see for yourself how fast you react. In general there are about 5% of all the clients, which do react so slowly or not at all, that continuation of the treatment is not adviced. You will know soon enough after the first treatment how quick you react.
